Dating lessons activities youth groups
“Young people like to have FUN.” A unified church youth group is a happy one.
When you have youth group games and activities that encourage socialization and interaction it gives the youth opportunities to learn each others strength and weaknesses.
Once the awards have been handed out, the group gets a bit more serious.
A few members of the youth group give their testimonies and present the gospel.
Some of these are just for fun activities and some are activities that teach valuable lessons from the Bible.
I have broken these ideas into 5 categories: 5 for youth, 5 for junior highers, and 5 for high schoolers. The farther a child gets in this game gets them a better reward.
"Icebreakers" (or ice breakers) are games or activities that break the ice and help people get to know each other at group functions, parties and events.
Everyone dresses in their best overalls and flannel shirts for a night of food, hayrides and, of course, big competitions, like: When all the games are done, the group holds a major awards ceremony.
There are plenty of prizes for the winners, donated by local businesses.
I can remember songs from my youth to this day still because of games like this one.

The first year, 85 people showed up (not bad for a town of 2,912). Getting their hands dirty is no problem for the Christ Community Church youth group in Franklin, Tennessee.
